Tropico BLVD
The quirky, soulful, sun-shine fueled rock band from St. Petersburg that sounds like summer on acid. A six piece with a large sound and even larger production, with a full light rig and a communal vibe that combined with their songwriting brings an energetic and hypnotic live show.
Founded by multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Miguel Lantigua in St Petersburg with Adam Mann on drums and Dan Gailey on bass. The trio would spend hours honing their sound and in late 2017, guitarist and vocalist Audrey Short & NoNeed keyboardist and saxophonist Cody Moore were added to the band which really took the sound of the band in a new direction. The band and crew share a sense of community and the band employs the improvisational sensibilities inspired by jam bands such as the Grateful Dead and Phish where shows are typically multiple sets, with musical segues and where rarely any two show’s set lists are alike, this mixed with their musicality, songwriting and strong harmonies from their charismatic singers keeps fans coming back for more. Tropico Blvd released their studio single 'The Rails' in 2019 establishing a new direction in the group. In the Spring of 2020, they released the single 'Drunk Uncle' and are currently writing & producing new material.
