Conscious, exciting and energetic…Born in the South if Vietnam to immigrant musicians, Nook spent the first two years of his life in refugee camps. After narrowly escaping as political refugees they made their way to a Thailand refugee camp later relocating in the Philippines. After 2 years they were sponsored to a church on the east coast. Growing up in government housing Nook began listening to hip hop. It became a huge influence and the soundtrack of his life. Poetic storytelling paired with intelligence and a strong cadence.
