Mark ‘Boltz’ Boltwood is a singer, rapper, musician, skateboarder, & artist from Manatee County, Fl., who made a name for himself as a skateboarder in the local Greater Tampa Bay area. During Boltz’s time in Atlanta, he made a custom art piece for Lil Wayne, a cut-out of the Skatepark of Tampa logo for the 2012 Tampa Pro made out of recycled skateboards, Weezy loved the piece so much he invited Boltz backstage and where they spent the rest of day skating and chilling. After this event Boltz was inspired to grow his ideas of Boltz on Board into a legitimate company, providing jewelry & art all handmade from recycled skateboards. Throughout the whole time, Boltz has been able to network & connect himself along with the local reggae and rap scenes both in Atlanta, California & Tampa Bay area growing his brand in associating with bands such as We The Kings & Summer Survivors and brands like Stevie Williams’ DGK collaborating on Boltz on Board jewelry. Waiting for the right time to drop his first musical endeavors, and that time has finally come. Using Mark Boltz as his stage name, he combines rapping, singing, and spoken word-type flows with his smooth, relaxed delivery and confident swagger. His influences include Bob Marley, Matisyahu, OutKastLil Wayne, and Childish Gambino to name a few. This is his first single “Long Time Comin’” as an artist signed with local St Pete record label Elseware Playhaus. He is currently working on more music to released with Elseware.
